Our Purpose
CHARITABLE PURPOSE
The Church is established to be a charity whose purpose is to advance religion by:
a) nurturing the spiritual development of members by holding meetings for corporate worship
b) providing information regarding spiritual beliefs and the activities of the organisation to members and the general public
c) providing pastoral care to members to nurture their spiritual development, and
d) undertaking other activities consistent with the above.
OBJECTS
a) To proclaim the gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ and leading those who repent to Christ.
b) Teaching and preaching the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ in all parts of Australia and beyond with a view to convincing men and women to voluntarily “repent.
c) To promote the spiritual growth and development of its members.
d) To foster a loving and supportive community based on Christian principles.
e) To provide charitable services to those in need.
f) To advocate for justice and righteousness in society.
g) To create a vibrant and prosperous city that reflects God’s love.
PRIMARY PURPOSE
The primary purpose of the Church is to glorify God by conducting religious services and teaching and training people in the truth of God’s Word, the Bible, calling people to repentance from sin and to faith in Christ, making disciples of our Lord Jesus Christ, and edifying the Body of Christ.
This purpose is twofold:
i. Intentional Love: We commit to fostering a loving community within our generation, a radiant testament to the transformative power of Christ’s message. This love extends beyond our walls, embracing the wider Australian community with open arms.
ii. Holistic Transformation: We pledge to empower our members – spiritually, morally, and socially. By nurturing their inner light, we equip them to navigate the world with unwavering faith and unwavering character.
Our vision is boundless. We extend a hand not only to Australia but to the world, carrying the torch of Christ’s love and igniting a fire of faith that will illuminate the path forward.
